How can we improve AffiloJetpack?

Access to Webmail

I had received an email from one of my subscribers which I would like to respond to. However, using a different email address from the one I'm using for this campaign might not be the best idea.

It would be very helpful if we have the opportunity to access the webmail. This will help to build a good relationship with our subscribers.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your email.

    Your suggestion for access to webmail on Affilojetpack-hosted websites is now under review.

    We don’t have specific plans to implement it at this stage but we will keep a close eye on it.

    We also recently made a video tutorial on how to send from your domain email address. You may view it from within the Affilojetpack members area :

    I hope that helps. Please let us know if you have further inquiries. All the best!

    Kind regards,

        Hi everyone,

        Would just like to share the video Aletta made, hope it helps. The thread's a bit long, just "Find" this there: "videos/566894" if you want to watch the video straightaway.

        http://www.affilorama.com/forum/general-discussion-f59/email-forwarding-with-ajp-sites-t28499.html

        She talks about using a third-party SMTP server.

        I'm now removing my votes as I believe there is a workaround on this issue.

        Thanks!

        Hi John,

        I'm sorry, but cPanel or control panel access is not available in Affilojetpack Lite Hosting. If you need to upload a file to your site, you can use the FileManager plugin.

        If you need control panel or FTP access, you can opt for a full regular hosting like Premium Hosting which is part of our Premium membership.

        You can remove the footer and header from both Posts and Pages in Affilotheme. You can see this on the bottom of the right sidebar of the Page and Post Editors.

        I hope that helps. Have a good day!

        Kind regards,

        Cecille

        Hi John,

        Affilojetpack Lite Hosting is a " lite " hosting similar to Wordpress Lite. It does not have access to a control panel, FTP or a full email service. For most people this won't be a problem. It's really only necessary if you are an experienced website owner who wants to use advanced functionality. If you are an entry level website owner, then Affilojetpack Lite Hosting is all that you need.

        Using our Affilojetpack Hosting has a lot of advantages:

        * One click setup: All you need to do is point your name servers to our hosting - and you're ready to go!
        * Very secure
        * Less people sharing an IP address
        * Fast
        * Automatic Affilojetpack theme updates
        * Full backup - If you ever change your mind, it is easy to switch to a new hosting provider as you can do full backups of your site.

        But if hosting access and all the bells and whistles are important to you, then you can either use our Premium hosting, or a 3rd party hosting provider like GoDaddy (but note that we can't provide any support for 3rd party hosting).

        Please add your suggestion concerning the header and the footer to the Affilotheme section:

        I appreciate your feedback. All the best!

        I would like access to the cPanel or back office to upload certain files like a php file for my themes. Or how about by default make available a "blank page" under "themes".

        And on every page a choice to remove the header & footer like you have on the squeeze page. That would be very, very useful (hint, hint).
